( NOTE: The descriptions below describe operation of AeroPulse with PULSE as the default "ON" mode. STEADY default "ON" mode can also be set at any time by simply moving a jumper to the STEADY default position. )
For normal daytime operation, just leave the landing light switch in the ON position so that the light comes on with the MASTER switch. When power is first applied, the controller will default to operation in PULSE mode with a rate of approximately 45 pulses per minute. For Daytime operation, you'll never have to think about it again.
For nighttime landings when a STEADY-ON mode is desired, simply toggle the landing light switch OFF then back ON within approximately 1-2 seconds and the controller will change to STEADY-ON mode. Subsequent toggling of the light switch will change between PULSE and STEADY output modes.
Should you ever become unsure of which mode the AeroPulse is in Just toggle the landing light switch to OFF...allow a minimum of 10 seconds to pass...then toggle it back on. The "keep alive" circuitry will bleed down below the voltage necessary to reset the micro-controller and when you toggle the switch back to the ON position, you can be assured that the AeroPulse will be in Default "ON" mode (PULSE in this instance). Then, if it was really STEADY mode you wanted, just toggle the switch OFF-then-ON again within approximately 1-2 seconds. It's THAT SIMPLE.
